Membership Entitlements

Kooyong's wonderful facilities, history and tradition are only a few of the reasons why you would want to join this prestigious Club.

With 26 beautifully manicured grass courts and 23 fully lit hard courts for use all year round, the Club caters for tennis players of all standards.

The Club also has a fully equipped gymnasium, 25 metre indoor heated pool and spa, 4 squash courts, three full size billiards tables as well as restaurant and function facilities.

Process for joining Kooyong

The normal procedure for applying for membership is that a member needs to request an application form on your behalf. The form needs to be signed by four members and an application fee of $55.00 needs to accompany the form.

If your application is approved you will be placed on the waiting list for Membership. The waiting periods are approximately:

- 2 Years for Restricted
- 7-8 Years for Playing Membership
- 5-6 Years for Junior (must be 13 years of age before an offer can be made)
- 1-2 Years for Country (must reside outside a 80km radius from KLTC)

If you do not know 4 members you will need to write a letter outlining your details ie. Address, birth date and tennis ability, and the $55.00 needs to accompany the letter. A short interview would take place before you can be placed on the waiting list.

Restricted membership allows you to use all the Clubhouse facilities with the restriction being no access to the grass courts and specific times for use of the hard courts.

Playing, Junior and Country Membership allows you to use all the Clubhouse facilities and all tennis courts at any time.

When an offer of membership is made an invoice will be sent that will consist of an Entry Fee of $2100 for applicants over 21 years old, $1000 for 13-20 years old and an amount for Annual Subscriptions for the financial year.
