Q. Most admired sportsperson/ people- why?
Carlos Alcaraz. He is always smiling and upbeat, and you can see how much he enjoys what he does. At the same time, he's a hardworking and determined athlete.
Q. Greatest influence in tennis career- why?
It would have to be my brother - Cooper, he has played at a very high level of tennis and has been around my tennis for the longest. He has been a person to look up to throughout my time playing the sport and gives me hope on achieving my full potential.
Q. Greatest sporting moment witnessed?
Watching Roger Federer win his 2017 Australian Open title was unforgettable. Seeing him come back after injury and beat Rafael Nadal in an incredible five set final.
Q. Favourite thing about Kooyong?
Definitely the people. Everyone at Kooyong is friendly, always up for a chat, and willing to help others improve. Also, the opportunities that come from being part of the Club are something I’ll never take for granted.
Q. Favourite Kooyong memory?
Winning Grade One Tennis Victoria pennant with most of the boys that I have grown up playing the sport with. It was a very special moment showing what we can achieve together as part of Kooyong.
Q. What attributes do you look for in a coach/teammate?
Key attributes I look for is positivity, encouragement, and honesty. A good coach pushes me to get better but also supports me when things get tough.
Q. If you weren’t a tennis player what would you be?
I grew up playing footy and have always loved sports, so I’d probably be an AFL player.
Q. What do you like to do outside of tennis?
I enjoy going on runs and doing anything active when I can. Also just catching up with mates and hanging out is something that I try to do often.

Roger Federer
Q. What advice would you give to other aspiring tennis players?
Be disciplined enough to show up even when you don’t feel like it. Tennis can be tough, but if you work hard and truly love the game, the results will follow.
Q. What are your goals going forward?
My main goal is to play high level tennis at college, which has been a goal of mine for a while now. During the summer breaks of college I will try and shoot my shot at becoming an ATP tennis player.
