Four rising tennis talents have earned their spots in Team Victoria’s 15/U and 13/U state squads for the upcoming Australian Team Championships, set to take place on the Gold Coast.

Thaadhie Karunanayake has been selected for the 13 & Under boys' team, while Lachie King and Jenson Yokota-Ho will represent the state in the 15 & Under boys' category. Isabel Cairns rounds out the group with her selection in the 15 & Under girls' team.

“I’m excited to be selected and play in the team’s event against the best players from around Australia as well as NZ and Pacific Oceania,” said Cairns, who relocated from Canberra to Melbourne in 2024. “Being in that team environment is always an enjoyable atmosphere, and playing and competing for each other is something I look forward to.”

Congratulations and best of luck to Thaadhie, Lachie, Jenson, and Isabel as they take on the nation’s best at this prestigious event!
