The Kooyong Foundation is delighted to welcome two outstanding young athletes to our community: Sonny Rennison and Arlo Shawcross.

The Kooyong Foundation is delighted to welcome two outstanding young athletes to our community: Sonny Rennison and Arlo Shawcross.

Both are rising stars in junior wheelchair tennis and represent the next generation of Australian sporting excellence.Sonny Rennison, aged 12, currently holds a junior world ranking of No. 15, while 14-year-old Arlo Shawcross is ranked No. 17. Their remarkable achievements at such a young age reflect their dedication, resilience, and passion for the sport.

We are especially proud to share that between the 6th and 11th of May, Sonny and Arlo will represent Australia for the first time as part of the Junior Australian team competing in the 2025 BNP Paribas World Team Cup in Antalya, Türkiye. This prestigious international event marks a significant milestone in their careers and an exciting chapter in their development as elite athletes.

We encourage the Kooyong community to follow their progress and support them from afar. Match results and tournament updates can be found on the official ITF website.
